Re: Tinned Meat & Mixer

Ok will try that. I have been buying these enormous bones which I think are roasted and very smelly/messy but seem to improve the dogs breathe. They last a long time but are cooked. I have heard before you should give raw but i don't know why?

Can you still buy mixer? I used to use that until I had my Newfs, but I mixed real meat with it not tinned stuff. I would NEVER use tinned dog "meat" as it really has only the very tiniest bit of meat in it.

Re: Tinned Meat & Mixer

You can still buy mixer, most supermarkets and pet shops sell it.

It is useful for doggies with tummy intolerances that can't eat rich food.

Re: Tinned Meat & Mixer

We feed our 2 with the frozen minced meats/fish you get from pet shops fed raw (defrosted obviously lol), pureed fruit & veg and JWB complete. They love it, look fab and their breath and bums don't stink
