We (meaning me and her) have got to forget about the cruciate operation, that IS fixed.
She also said that we (meaning me and her) have got to stop thinking of Alfie as the two year old that he acts like and realise that he is now a veteran

Apparently it's his osteoarthritis having a flair up.
Eye is ok too.
