Parvo opinions please?

Hi just found out there is parvo in my area. I haven't taken my dogs for a walk for a few days. Although my dogs have had there shots the collie is only 9 months and am a little concerned about the possibility of exposing her, I have heard that sometimes the shots don't take have any of you heard this? My vet is on holidays, I have an appointment Thursday to get 2 of them their rabies so I'll ask the vet on call at that time but just wondered if anyone had heard this. I space out my shots as collies can be sensitive to the shots...Jill

Oh heck, I haven't heard that. I'd be extra careful too if I was you.

No doubt someone will be able to offer some advice.
