Mia staying overnight at the vets

Well what a day i have had. Set off this morning to collect my new pup and my daughter was minding the others at home and at 1.30 i got a phone call off her to say Mia was being sick and diarreoh. I told her i wouldnt get home till 4ish as i was in birmingham on my way back.
When i did get home Mia was slavering and her diarreoh had turned to blood in a matter of 3 hours and she was very lathargic.
We rang the emergency vets and he said bring her down straight away, which we did. It was £70 before the vet would see her and when she did she said her temperature was high, could she off ate rat poison if not could be gastric and she had to stay in overnight on a drip and antibiotics and blood tests.
We have just rang up to see how she is doing and the vet said she is sleeping, on a drip and had her antibiotics.
So fingers crossed for the morning we have got to ring back at 8am to see how she is

Yes the pups now fine and doing well. Just boiled all the toys and discenfected the kitchen floor three times and boiled all the food bowls and fenced the grass off so they only go on the patio. Getting paranoid now.
