Lump on Dog's Ear

Hi, I'm new on this forum but i really need help. I have noticed that my bullmastiff has a lump on his ear flap, it's very swollen and looks like it has a bit of red in it. I have been searching for an idea of what it could be but still can't find anything. I have included a picture if that helps.

Thanks

Re: Lump on Dog's Ear

Welcome to the forum

You need to take him to the vets, although people here could give you an idea of what it as (most likely getting it right too!!) you do have to take him to see a vet.

Fingers crossed its nothing serious

Re: Lump on Dog's Ear

Looks like a heat lump or cyst...

Our Bridget had a small lump on the edge of her floppy ear... It was just a pimple.. a couple of weeks later we noticed it was bigger.. so took her the vets he said it was a cyst and took that part of her ear with it and did Biopsies...

So seriously it could be something Minor, but isn't it always best just to go the vets....

Re: Lump on Dog's Ear

I would leave it for a few days then, just to make sure it doesn't burst on it's own.
If it's still there I'd go to vet for a check later in the week
