Re: poorly puppy

Thanx for all the replies. Millie's a lot better now. She has stopped being sick and has had a nearly firm stools and been drinking and eating ok. When she was sick last it had leaves in it so think she has got rid of bug whatever it was.

glad she is now ok may pay you to get some tree bark powder in from Dorwest herbs it is really good and I sometimes sprinkle some on the pups food if I see any with a little bit of tummy upset, I know alot of peeps use it when weaning their litters, and I have some in the cupboard for if one of the older dogs get the squits

Re: poorly puppy

glad she's feeling better.

One of my pups stopped eating last weekend and had a small amount of diarreah. We took her to the vets were she has been on a drip ever since. Not sure what they call what she has but its common in pups under 6 months and they normally have a little diarreah and recover after a day or so. The odd one reacts badly to it and can be severely ill .Looks like we've got that one. We're waiting to hear from the nurse as she has taken her home for the weekend rather than send her to the emergency vet for the weekend which is what would normally happen
