Re: Orijen Dog Food?

I am not sure if anyone does use it. I personally ra wfeed, but if I were to feed a kibble, I would feed Orijen. It is the only kibble properly designed for dogs IMO, as it doe snto contain any cereal. For that reason, I suspect it might also be good for dogs with allergies.

Re: Orijen Dog Food?

I switched to Orijen about 6 months ago for my large breed dogs and have never looked back. They get raw as well but it is the nearest kibble to a raw diet and you don't need to feed huge amounts - my dogs love it - no more fussy meal times and dry skin.

Orijen is more appropriate for any dog because it doesn't contain grains. Burns although high quality ingredients has a low meat content and does contain grains (rice). I also feed raw but if I was to feed dry food I would feed Orijen.

I know a few raw feeders that use Orijen when they can't feed raw such as when they go to shows or on holiday and are happy with the results. I do use Orijen as treats for my three sometimes, they turn their nose up at a lot of other dry foods but enjoy Orijen.

Re: Orijen Dog Food?

bevor i decidet to feed raw food, i gave lilly orijen either. she loved it, there are great ingrediences in, no grain is always best choise, but the only problem is that it has looooooooooooooooots of proteins. so lilly gained a lot of weight. ...

but since almost a year we feed raw food and we'll never go back to dryfood...

also a good dryfood for those, who don't wanna feed raw food is acana !
