Hi Thanks for the responses, I am off to order one of the brake bowls now - I have a staffie as well who hoovers his food so i think we will be getting him one as well and spare ones for my mam's where they sometimes spend the day ..... they do seem expensive but to be honest i would pay whatever if it stops her getting unwell..

Interesting about the ice cubes, i give Oscar (my staffie) them and will think twice now ....
