Quick update......just back from vets. She's got the all clear The results show lumps removed in time to prevent any more treatment. She was as good as gold haveing stitches out too. So just proves you need to check ya girls for lumps on a regular basis. (Lockets lumps appeared in a matter of 2 weeks)

What sort of age do these lumps first start to appear?

Locket is 7. She hasnt been spayed yet due to 3 phantoms on previous seasons. The vets have said though that that isnt the reason for lumps as for a Bitch not to suffer breast lumps she has to be spayed before first season They also said there is no risk to her daughter or grandaughters as it isnt carried like in humans
