Help with my bitch please

my bull terrier bitch is almost 2 years old. She has had a season every 4 mths since she was 6 mths old. Can any1 tell me if that is normal as i thought it was every 6 mths. her last season was in may so she is not due yet but i have noticed today that she has white stuff coming out of her boobs. (2 of them) Can any1 help?
Also I dont know if these are related but the last few days she has been really fussy with her food and is refusing to eat unless its human food.
I know she is definately not pregnant so that rules that out. Any suggestions please??????
Thx
Wxxx

high protein food dont help if she's having a phanton, it makes it worse.
put her on a low protein food.

if she dont eat the dog food when you give it to her dont worry, pick it up and let her go hungry, she will not starve, she will eat when she is hungry. the worse thing is to give her your food it will make her more picky and stop eating dog food altogether.

if she's having a phantom theres not alot you can do she will get over it.
you might want to think about having her done? if she is only a pet dog

Re: Help with my bitch please

I would take her to the vet for a check up,if she's having a phantom they will be able to advise may even give medication to get rid of the milk.

They may also suggest having her spayed.
If it is a phantom they usually get worse with every season, not better.

Re: Help with my bitch please

it does sound like a phantom to me....coming into season every 4 months dont sound normal to me for a ebt?? but all dogs are different as they say, i would take her to a vet and mention this to them...see wat they suggest.

all my bull terriers come into season between 6 and 8 months.

Re: Help with my bitch please

Sounds like a phantom to me too, Meg is having a phantom at the moment and the vet has advised to get her spayed as soon as she's over it as she's likely to get one after every season and they'll only get worse and not better.
