It is - but be warned - someone else suggested I get one - my dogs went BESERK - complete waste of money for us - and now I can't get near them with a good old fashioned nail clippers either

We always used the local poodle parlour and she was excellent - but that's changed hands now as well, and the new owner isn't anywhere near as good with the dogs

Poor pupster

Re: Is This Wrong??

It sounds daft but also contact colleges - they have the student groomers run a salon if they teach it and students will do *anything* to not hurt your dog as a rule

a) they are normally there cos animal mad and love them and won't hurt them!
b) a bad grooming experience is a 'fail' on the course
3) being watched like a hawk by the tutors

for basics can be good as they tend to be conservative

in the time we did grooming as part of my national diploma... I only ever saw *one* dog have a bleeding nail and his paws were in a state, the claw just crumbled whem clipped
