Hi
I wanted to share some more examples of my work with you.

There are 2 dog ones (the big one is my Spike taken from a photo RIP!). excuse the fact it is not framed, the line in the middle is where it has been folded - it is getting framed now so cant get a better snap til next week

Re: Your pet in Cross Stitch

yes very good work, i do some cross stitch myself but normaly never finish them, and then start on another one lol.
you must have a lot of time on your hands how long does it normaly take you to finish one?
another unique gift is to make them into pillows!

Re: Your pet in Cross Stitch

Hi
well i work full time but I am addicted to them!! I have done them since I was 11!

The one with the 4 pictures of Schnauzers took about 5 weeks and the one of Oscar about 2. depends on how much detail there is really.

The one of Spike took me 3 years, I started it when he started to get poorly (he was diabetic) because I wanted to capture him and have it to treasure forever. Unfortunately we lost him half way through and I couldnt pick it up without getting upset! Total stitching time was probably about 4 months i think!

I have lots and lots more of different scenery and pictures! Got to the point where I have not enough walls and at christmas every one comes down and is replaced with a christmas scene - it drives my husband mad who i think secretely would once in a while like to buy a nice painting
