German Shepherd needs new home.

My Grandparents are currently fostering a lovely, sweet natured cream coloured German Shepherd. She is around three years old and is an absolute beauty. From what we know of her past, she used to be a stray and was frightened of people. The RSPCA in the area tried to catch her but she wouldn't come near them. Finally she got trapped in somebody's garden shed and was so petrified that she tried to jump through a solid window in order to get away from the people who came to fetch her. This all happened in Wales. Since then she has been moved to England and into her foster home. She has come on in leaps and bounds and will now greet everybody she meets. She is a mamma's girl but can live quite happily with men. She is house trained and has some training. She'd probably need somebody who is experienced with the breed and is prepared to commit themselves to her and give her the tlc she needs. She'd probably be better off as an only dog, or with a laid-back dog who is bigger than her, as she tends to nip smaller dogs. She currently resides in the Nottinghamshire area and you can find out more information by contacting me on a messenger or via e-mail.

Re: German Shepherd needs new home.

I forgot to mention. She is lovely on a lead though may pull if she sees other dogs running about. Whilst she generally is nervous around dogs in the home, out on walks she yearns to run and play with other dogs. Today we 'cat tested' her with my cat and she ignored him mostly so she would be fine in a home with cats.

Re: German Shepherd needs new home.

Thanks. For those of you who are interested, Aeysha has visitors soon. They have two cats and a large paddock for her to play in. We all have our fingers crossed.

Re: German Shepherd needs new home.

Aeysha has gone to her new home. We're going to give her a week to settle in and then we'll know for sure if she will be staying. We all have our fingers crossed, couldn't have asked for a better couple to take her. We just hope she gets on well with the cats.
