Re: Small dog wanted -older Dog very welcome

Hi Andrea
there are lots of dogs looking for homes but i think your biggest problem is you wanting someone to deliver the dog to you........it is always advisable to see the dog on its home turf, a dog could come to you from lord knows where, puppy farms or at worst stolen and the theives just need shot of it.
if you really cant get friends or relitives to take you to see a dog offered to you then my advice is public transport to your nearest dog shelter, where at least you know the dogs have been assessed before let loose on a home with children.
My friend has a 6 yr old beagle bitch looking for a home but i know she wouldnt deliver it. I breed beagles and american cockers and i would never even consider taking a pup to a strange place and leaving it with people they had never met before in their own home environment
just my honest opinion
regards
Pauline

Before i will take a dog in my home there will be lots of talks, also i have spoken to some Dog Rescues there are more them happy to come and see me,it is important that i can see the dog in my home -the dog have to be happy in his new home and i think you could see it likes the new home or not!

Re: Small dog wanted -older Dog very welcome

wouldnt dream of sending advice to someone who obviously isnt willing to listen........as for the dog on my website if you read it properly you would see it doesnt belong to me, i have allowed the ad because the breeder concerned isnt well enough at the moment to field the calls for the dog and i'm doing her a favour, as for a bargain,.......well yes he is considering her stock sells for £1500 and more.....but i at least am willing to listen.......therefore i will ask her if she minds if i change the wording........you see some people are open to suggestions and i thank you for pointing the wording out to me.
Pauline
