Still lots of milk available its going up every day and we got 15 pints from just tonights milking

well done for your persistence, I would have thought someone would have been able to take large and regular quantities off you by now!! Keep it up, im surprised you've not found a commercial buyer yet!

as it happens we do have several people get it every week for litters of puppies and also a local farmer is raising a calf on it so gets it several times a week but as we are getting close on 30 pints a day now we do always have some

plus everything goes towards the guineapig rescue we run

If you ask MOST vets they will tell you to get them off milk asap. Goats milk is better than cows milk for them but it stil isnt really very good for them. Water is all they need after they are weened off their mum. goats milk is a good bonus for a while but its not good for them .

why is goats milk not good for them? Its 31 years since i reared my first litter on goats milk and continue to do so and always will!

That's rather odd as I handreared a whole litter of rescue puppies on goats milk once and they thrived very well and grew into very healthy young pups! I also gave goats milk to Merlin as a puppy last year and also to Chucky when he was a pup as he was a poorly little thing when I first had him. They blossomed with it. Think it's all down to personal opinion and individual experience really.
