im helping an 70 year old active lady find a new friend she has just had to put her cocker spaniel to sleep because he had cancer and she is very lonely now, she has no family close by just her neighbours. ideally she is looking for a show type blue roan male but will look at others, she cant afford to pay much, so if there is anyone one out their looking to rehome their cocker spaniel for what ever reason, thiers a lonely lady looking

A nice little yorkie or similar would make a much better lap companion.

quite agree with you all at the age of 70 but believe me shes got more go in her than most of us, shes had her last show cocker for 14 years but sadly had to put him down, she is wise not to get a puppy definetely too much, i thought maybe a rescue or something she really doesnt want anything else tried that one already, but hey who knows

We have a 6 year old cocker spaniel who is very cuddly and placid and is a definately great company, happiest sat next to you on the sofa! She was from the local cocker rescue which a friend found online. They rehome dogs who have lost their owners etc. They may be able to help her find another one....good luck xx
