Jack Russell Terrier Pup Female Tri Coloured

To a good home with lots of time for her. Unfotunately we have to part with her due to a problem with her weeing whenever we go near her. Needs to go to someone with the time to look after her properly. She is around twenty weeks old £100-00

Hi goodluck in getting a new home for your girl.
I dont mean to sound horrible but have you thought maybe it is your ton of voice with her and thats why she has accidents?
Saying that we use to have boxers and one of our girls ever time she got excited and we came home she would also wet herself

Good luck, it could just be submissive urination when you approach. My Vince did it for a good few months whenever someone made a fuss of him, he grew out of it though, most do.

20 weeks old is still very young, why dont you try some new ways to stop her weeing, get to the bottom of it. Im sure you can if you want to keep your pup.

I agree - give her a chance.
Seek advise from pet trainers, take her to classes.
Selling her is only going to add to her problem rather than help it.

Re: Jack Russell Terrier Pup Female Tri Coloured

There was a dog on the dog whisperer the other week and it had the same problem but i cant for the life of me think what he did might be worth seeing if you can dig it out or watch for a rerun as his ways are very good!! easy and effective. the dog in question was also really fearful of everything around her.
Could you try to ignore the puppy unless she approaches you??

Re: Jack Russell Terrier Pup Female Tri Coloured

My parents lab x pointer used to do this as a fear response (he was an abused rescue) and he soon grew out of it with their help and training. It's something that can be cured if you really want to.

Re: Jack Russell Terrier Pup Female Tri Coloured

i think that from reading a lot of the posts above, the general thought is that the problem could be fixed by you....but quite easily made worse if she is re homed...

if you can help her then i think you should, she knows you, she knows her home, so at the moment she is in the safest and secure place possible.
