german wire haired pointer pups

hi all,
got a litter of german wire haired pointer puppies due on or around 1st december.both parents work under hawks and falcons,excellent champion pedigrees and both good working dogs.the main top lines are kimmax,gavic,kelford and the best of wiggmansburg top german imports.

if you mean health checks has in genetic health problems i.e epilepsy,then both parents have had it within the last 6 months the bitch only had her 3 months ago.if you mean a different health check please let me know.

Hips, eyes, Von Willebrands Chris.. What are the puppies Sire & Dams scores for hips and are they clear on the eye and VonWb's?

I didn't realise you could have a test for epilepsy. I was thinking of the hip scores and von willebrands disease results

Cant have a test for epilepsy and if you do know of one then please let me know as in welsh springers it is a problem and we just go through pedigrees, I am told the only way to eradicate the problem is by DNA profile but they have not reached that yet !!

sorry about the complications about epliepsy,i was just meaning genetic diseases

the health check was for any imformaties to make sure my bitch was in good check to have pups.ill check the paper work the vet gave me and check for these scores ect as im not well up on all this the vet just said shes bang on to carry and produce health pups.

infact they have just developed a test for epliepsy its still in the development stage in america, signs are good so far hopefully the test will be more avaible very soon.
its done through the genes to see if your dog carries the gene that carries the epliepsy.
