The actual selling thread for the Frogbee which I introduced elsewhere
The first product from Hide-Away Pets that is specifically for dogs.
Frogbee is the new toy that is both tug toy and frisbee and machine washable!
He's designed as a short distance throwing toy/tug toy for those that want a multi-use toy or something soft but safer than a cuddly toy as no potentially harmful stuffing in it.
Unlike a ball or regular frisbee it can be thrown then tugged over in a multi dog household with less chance of injury (grabbing faces over ball/hard edges of frisbee)
The 'legs' and floppy body also make it great fun for the shaking 'kill it kill it kill it!' type play that those dogs with high prey drives often like to display - but again no stuffing to come out and be a choking hazard - though I would advise never leaving *any* fabric based toy unsupervised for extended periods as they are not good to actually eat
He's fantastic for puppies or dogs with 'soft' mouths as he has no hard edges at all. Fairly hygenic as toys go as he can be machine washed up to 40 degrees if he gets dropped in anything unsavoury - though line dry only.
Been product tested by a 3 year old rottie girl and a 4 year old springer x cocker girl, Lupi the spaniel is a confirmed toy killer and it has survived since wednesday with her so far. See below for pics of her playing with it.
Materials: Test Frogbee is polyester fleece with poly thread and fabric paint. He has no stuffing/padding/filler - this makes him safer to leave unsupervised (for short periods) unlike most soft toys though caution is always sensible as I wouldn't say he is edible... but you don't have to watch like a hawk with him either.
Testing - throwing - after a little practice Frogbee was flying 10-30 feet depending on wind direction and strength.
His legs go all the way through his body so there is no worry of a leg ripping off during tug games. This makes him safer for both you and dogs, no sudden flying backwards moments as a limb comes off.
I am now able to take orders, he comes in 2 sizes, unfortunately I am unable to get him mass produced yet so he is a handmade item - each one takes an hour+ to make so am not getting min wage for him

, prices are:
Standard: £7 + P&P
Small: £5 + P&P

He's available (currently) in red, green, yellow, purple or brown.
For just 50p extra you can have your name or your dogs name written on him for that personal touch - choose either belly or top - easier to mark as clearly yours for in the park or at play groups too!
