Please can you make sure that before creating a new advert or replying to an existing advert regarding puppies for sale or stud dogs, that you read the following information and rules, otherwise you may find that your thread or post is removed.

We at PetForums.co.uk want to promote responsible breeding and do all possible to help inform our users on the various issues and responsibilities regarding dog breeding.

NEW ADVERTS

Before placing a new advert for puppies for sale or a stud dog, you may find it very useful to read a couple of articles that we have in our pet encyclopedia which give information regarding offering your dog at stud and breeding from your bitch. They give you an overview of whats involved and the things to take in to consideration before deciding to breed.

PetForums promotes responsible breeding, so on all stud dog adverts or stud dog wanted adverts please state which health checks your dog and bitch have had including any eye tests, hip scoring or DNA test etc..


REPLYING TO ADVERTS

Any adverts placed in our public dog classifieds section and the creators of these adverts should be respected by our other users.

You should only respond to the advert if you are actually interested in the puppies or would like to use the services of the stud dog. It is not fair and will not be tolerated if other members publicly interrogate the thread creator and voice their concerns in their thread.

If you have an issue or are concerned about the thread, then this should either be taken up directly with the person via email or private message(pm), or if you are concerned about the intentions of the advertiser or concerned for a dogs safety then this should be reported via pm or email to the forum administrator or one of the moderators and the appropriate actions will be taken as soon as possible.
