Re: Wanted - Boot Guard for Freelander

Do you mean the plastic moulded Land Rover one? I have one and am open to offers, but but it is jot something you can post so would have to be collected. I am in West Mids. I should warn you though that if you want it for carrying a dog they are awful, being plastic they are impossible for a dog to stand up on and I had to remove mine to stop him from sliding from side to side! The rubber mats are a better bet.

Re: Wanted - Window Guard for Freelander

Whoops - I meant a window guard!

Thank you for the advice regarding the plastic boot guards though - shan't get one of those then!

Don't suppose you have a window guard knocking around too do you?

You mean a tailgate? So when you open the boot, the dog can't get out?

No, the Freelander has an opening back window and there is a mesh guard that can be fitted inside so that you can have the window open without leaving an escape route for pooch.

They do come up on eBay occasionally, some dealers still have them in stock but they are around £80 new so if you can find one on eBay then go for it. I got my boot tray and the internal dog guard from a local seller on eBay.
