Angry Re: Beware Of Internet Scammers

yes ther are so many scamers out ther in most case's they put ther puppies/things at low price's so as to get a lot of people interested & get themselfs some easy quick cash, with puppies dont pay any money befor you have seen the puppie & try & see both parents, where they sleep & have a good look at the puppie is it clean? most puppies i find have fat tummys but ask if & when she/he was last wormed & what on?, befor you buy one & if your not sure dont buy one as it my cost you too much in vet bills to keep it alive,(STOP THE SCAMERS SCAMING PEOPLE).tiny pups

Re: Beware Of Internet Scammers

I was offered a pup while ago.... she said she was in Belfast and would send me the pupy by courier... all I had to do was send the money and my details.

I told her, I am not interested and that I would always want to view pups with mum and dad at their home before purchasing a puppy. She just wouldn't get what I said, and kept asking. I think she was foreign.

Too many about to be honest.

Re: Beware Of Internet Scammers

I got someone trying to scam me today, saying that their wife had died and he wanted to sell the puppies asap because they reminded him of her memory. He didn't seem to think what people would think if they checked any other ads he had placed. Hmmm i think there were at least 15 other breeds, all from the same user, different contact name, and incredibly different dogs, all for £100. I called him because I was suspicious, and he then said that they were now free and all I had to do was pay for courier, oh and that he had moved to Belfast so it would be more money than getting it sent from Kent! The range of dogs was from Alaskan Malamutes to Yorkshire Terriers. There were pictures attached for ALL the dogs available but they were all at different houses with different people! He asked for all my details and of course I gave him none. It makes me so sad to think that good hearted people will fall for these scams in the belief they will have a beautiful little puppy soon I immediatly notified the website as there is nothing I detest more than scammers and there stupid stories

Re: Beware Of Internet Scammers

Ok i know i was dumb, but i got caught, and paid, and was left with a massive phone bill!!

My mum loves small dogs, after years of having: gsd, boxers, dob, ect..
And she kept saying to me that her dream one day is to own a little pug, or chi. Have you seen the price these days looking at £1000 easy.

So while we was saving, making sure we have enough for everything, buying, vets, training ect.. I came arcoss an ad on gumtree:-

"Chi pups for rehoming due, to owner not being able to look after them and work"

Looked at the advert and everything sounded great, nothing like a scam, no spelling mistakes, freindly people seem to really know the breed ect, So i emailed them and they said, that although "the husband" was in bristol working, his wife had the dogs in ireland, and i would need to pay the shipping fee, as he would not be able to get back to ireland for 3 weeks.

He sent me emails confirming the dog was real, pics with date at the bottom, and video links and i see the dog playing with its mother and other pups.

Anyways to cut a long story short, I was scammed hard!

With paying over £500 for the dog, another £100.00 for the shipping fee, and then i noticed the mistakes rolling in, dog dog never showed, and so how they was calling me and it was charging my landland everytime i answered.

I went to the police, and they are still dealing with it, but the dogs WAS real.

Not all of these scammers will drop themself in it, Some are better, then good.
Now i'm looking for a real breeder, that i can visit, check the dogs over ect..
Never again will i fall for it!

Question Re: Beware Of Internet Scammers

Hi : im new here just wondered if anyone could tell me weather they think this is a scammer?iv been advertising jackhua puppies online for a few weeks & had a call last night from a woman wanting me to send a pup by courier (which i would never do) & havent heard back from her todaybut i have had a few emails from this person ,a few of the wordings look similar to other scams (stay blessed) & bad spelling etc & they use a yahoo address, which i know a lot of scammers use?:1st email:

Hi michelle,
Hi,How are you doing?I'm contacting you regarding your dog if its still
available and I would appreciate it if I could get more pictues of the
dog. Please note that I'm highly interested in your dog beause I want it
for my son (Terry) and he is going to be happy.

As for the shipping and the necessary things to be done in order for the
dog to get to my son,I would take care of them.

Please do get back to me asap plus the condition of the dog.Thank you.

Regards,

John April

2nd email(i pretended to be interested & a bit stupid as i thought they were dodgy)

Hi michelle,
I am so sorry it has taken me so long to get back in touch with you,Have been busy.

You sound pretty nice to me which I appreciate a lot.

I just spoke with my son now and spelt out everything to him which he is very happy getting the female,he even prefer the female.

Concerning the shipping arrangement I made mentioned..,have contacted the agent already and he is coming to pick up the dog from your place which will be delivered to my son by him,.,so dont worry about that and if there is anything you would still want to know ,do not hesitate to let me know and I would get back to you as soon as possible.

Kindly get back to me with the actual amount asking on the female dog just for me to be sure.
Thank you.

Stay Blessed.

John.

Angry Re: Beware Of Internet Scammers

hi,i posted a copy of 2 emails iv had about my jackhua pups im selling & i wanted your advice if you thought this bloke was a scammer?well iv had 2 more emails since & im positive now as all the things he said are almost identical to another persons scammer email iv seen posted here. His name is john april & his email is:japril111@yahoo.com dont get caught by him!Iv been trying to get the name of the site he saw my ad on,so i can warn them,he eventually told me,Im so angry someone can do this,im more worried what would happen to the pup should i be stupid enough to fall for this,i would never let a pup go to someone i hadn't met & it makes me think anyone who would agree to what hes suggesting obviously doesn't care for the welfare of the animals there selling, which is just as bad so if they do fall for it,there getting what they deserve, who knows what the scammers going to do with that pup!If anyones heard of this bloke before, post a reply please!f i could get hold of this person,i would make sure he wasn't ever able to do this again (if you know what i mean!!) Heres the emails:

Hello Michelle ,

Thank you for your response concerning the sale of the female dog which I got from (www.dogs-and-puppies-for-sale)please go get the advert off the web and consider it sold to me..,she will be shipped to Essex,London,I hope that not a problem anyway? You don't have to be bother about the pick up,I'm scheduled to leave for Holland on a business engagement by tomorrow night and this will at me for some weeks but I believe this doesn't stop this stransaction as I would be informing my business associate in the city to make out certified check in your name as soon as the offer is ok by you.

A cheque of £950 will be sent to you,as soon as you recieves it,deduct your £450 and the remaining balance will be sent to shipping agent (VIA WESTERN UNION MONEY TRANSFER) for the preparation of the pick up.

If you are OK with the offer,I would need your full name that will be on the check, current address, state, city, area code plus your phone number.

As soon as I hear back from you I would instruct my associate to issue out the check in your name immediately and you should recieve the cheque between 2-3 days.

If there is anything you don't seem to understand please do ask me I would be glad to answer you.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Regards,

John.
2nd email:
I'm still hoping to hear from you plus could you please forward me the pictures of the female dog?Thank you.

John.
