I am a volunteer at Wellingborough Dog Welfare, and they are in need of the below:

Bedding this can include:
- Pillows
- Duvets
- Curtains
- Sheets
- any unwanted material

Toys:
If you have bought a toy for your pet and they either didnt like it or no longer play with it, the dog in the kennels would be eternally grateful for any toys. Even if it isnt perfect, anything would be better than nothing.

Volunteers:

If you could spare some time to come and help look after the dogs then we would be grateful also.

I am able to collect any items around the Wellingborough and Northampton area. So please if you feel you can provide us with anything then let me know.

We will accept anything, so if you think its not good enough i.e too tatty then please do not think this as you should know dogs are not bothered about looking good, they would just love a nice warm bed, some food in their bellys and a lovely walk,

Wellidogs are hoping to open their new kennels by March 2011, they will be holding an open day event and as soon as I have confirmation I will post this on here.

Also if you wanted to post any items to us, please let me know so I can give you the kennels address.

I'm in Raunds would that be too far for you to come and collect?

I shall have a good sort out of kaiser's (aka spoilt brat's) stuff during the week

No that would be great! One of our trustees lives in Rushden, so not too far away!

How far is rusden from PEterborough? sort of think Rusden is in Northants!

About an hour away, think that might be too far. But i sometimes go to Peterborough on work. When im next down that area Ill give you a PM and see if you have anything if you want?

I am not in peterbough but my daughter is and I am there from next week! but arrangement can be made when you are that way have a feeling I shall have loads of towels as I am having a new en suite!!

Now and again i visit wellingborough i can make crochet blankets if thats any help?

I am in Hemel Hempstead, and have some duvets/duvet covers/pillows/ that have been stored in a garage so a bit musty, but would not be able to get them to you, but if you know someone passing then you are welcome to them?
