The only reason she cant stay here is she has 3 spats with cassie the last one in the house and i dont think its safe round the kids otherwise she would have been more than welcome to stay forever, a truely lovely dog who derserves the best. i hope she finds the home she derserves soon cant look at her pics they make me cry.
Ahhh wat a shame claire even youve tryed, so it does go to show its not just alans dogs she dislikes...it does seem to be most, infact all dogs.

It is ashame if u get attatched to a dog and cant keep it, i had the same prob a good numba of years ago wiv a english bull terrier....she started of fine with my old girl who at the time was about 6-7 years old, then afta a few months she started beating her up...she even had one side of her face swollen up like a ballon where she got bit by her so i had to rehome her, it was so hard coz we all loved her but u just cannot take the chance.

meg will find a great home eventually...its ashame you's couldnt find a older couple to go live out her days peacefully.

Re: Brindle 5 Year Old Staffordshire Bull Terrier Bitch

Thanks for all your kind comments, it's really appreciated as I have felt like crap the last couple of days knowing I can't keep her here as long as we'd have liked. If it was just my dogs I would have but when other peoples dogs are involved it's not fair. She is very good with most dogs, she's settled her diffrences with Trinny and they've been playing last night and today. Her and Jayjay can't get enough of each other, if they're not playing they're sleeping!

Oi, Enough of the crap feelings you have done wonders with her, what would have happened to her if you hadn't of taken her in.It doesn't bare thinking about.
It is hard I know what we felt like when we had to send our rescue ESS back because it wasn't working out with my two.

Enjoy her while she's still with you

Dont feel bad hun, you helped her out when she was in a bad home where people cared more for their holiday than they did about meg who had been with them a few years.

Stop feeling guilty, you! You've done more than most would have, and you have no need to berate yourself. You have given her an excellent start, and I know you will make sure she has a good "forever" home. Hold your head up and be proud of what you have achieved!

Well she's been brilliant the last few days, she's getting on with all our three like a house on fire, even grumpy Milo. She's just like our three with the other dogs now, just ignores them unless they want to play with her. We've been able to have the cats out without a problem, she still gives them a funny stare now and again but no problems. If she sees one of the cats she usually runs straight to us for a fuss now, cheeky sod has caught on! Maybe we'll keep her afterall. D
