I dont agree with muzzling a dog unless there is a potential risk of the dog biting someone.
You post proves my point, had meg have been muzzled she wouldn't have been able to defend herself. Provided a dog is under control as meg was that's sufficient in my opinion. I do hope your husband and meg are okay. Sue |

Meg Hubby and Luke are fine. ![]() That's one reason I won't muzzle my dogs because they are unable to defend themselves,if other owners took responsilbility these situations wouldn't arise. Both of mine are brilliant around people,the vet even commented about Meg been so good and still giving kisses after she was so poorly.Even when she was so ill she never showed any agression whatsoever,she was a bit snappy with Tyler,understandably so because he was showing interest in her, another reason she had us worried that day. I would say they are bombproof around people and children so in my opinion don't need muzzling as they pose no danger whatoever. ![]()
