ah - this just in, a local woman is recovering from an assault with a silver-plated loving-cup at an awards ceremony... we;ll take U to the on-scene reporter...
camera fades to a hospital room, where a woman sits propped in bed, looking pale, with bandages wound round her head - she squints at the bright-lights, lifts a hand to shade her eyes -

well, as i was saying, i don;t know exactly what came over her - she shouted something about the handles, and next i knew, we were legging it around the dais while she swung the bloody cup at me! and boy, did that hurt!...
the handles are just cast-replicas shaped like dog-bones, i have no idea why she was so upset, they are silver-plate just like the rest of it...

nurse officiously closes curtain and camera-crew are hustled out of the room, where they immediately begin interviewing a man whose 6-YO is bleeding onto the floor from a broken-nose, while hospital-staff hand him clipboards with forms to fill-out...
