Like some of the others I show my dogs so they have all come from their breeder although not necessarily as pups Freyja was 3 when she came to us from the breeder and Bandit was bought by another person from my breeder but they couldn't do much with him so they sold him to us for my son to do junior handler with.
Button is my ex racing greyhound but she came to us directly from her trainer /breeder but my young whippets are all bred by me from my foundation stock

i have just recently homed a rescue dog 6 weeks ago got a new puppy sunday tho off a breeder (my mum) lol gonna end up with a house full

I got mine from pups and the breeders were friends but i have had lots from rescues and one thrown onto a main road in pup took her to RSPCA and worried that much went and got her back same day, and pups all went to good homes of friends she has gone to rainbow bridge now, i have rescue cats though,

Had all mine from puppies from very good breeders and they all came with clear health checks..

Would not get a rescue dog because it would not suitable i like a pedigree puppy with a good line and health checks and a puppy is more suitable when you have children-you just dont know what you are taking on with a rescue dog.

When we first has Luna she was full of Mange and also ear infections. Her old owners messed her tail up because by the looks of it tried docking it, we also think she was kept out the back alone because when we first had her she didnt like the back door closed with the fear of locking her out, but she gained our trust and she loves it out their now.

We got Luna from a rescue centre and that was the best thing we have ever done it felt good inside and it felt much better because we were helping a dog and giving one a new lease in life a better one in which she came from. I understand what people say you dont now what your getting and i agree we were very lucky with luna and we wouldnt change her for the world. The only problem we have with Luna is that she doesnt like the sound of metal clashing together.

Rescue .. I'd go with rescue everytime. Unless you want to show or breed I'd recommend rescue.

Also there are alot of rescue pups available now so not all come with "problems", many have just been badly treated.

Cola had a very difficult past but today she is the most loving, placid, well trained dog. I feel very lucky to have found her.

My pup is rescue, we are thinking of getting another one to keep him company, that will be rescue also.

Our current dog is a rescue but the pup winging her way to us is from a breeder.

2 of mine were from breeders as pups , 1 as an adult from a breeder and 1 rescue ...I also show so always go to a breeder for my show dogs
