I have just had a quote from pet plan at £17 per month for a 7 month old Northern Inuit, I pay less than that for all 3 cats! I cant remember how much I pay for Shila though. Im looking as Isis's free cover runs out at the end of this month and I really want someone decent who pays out quickly and does the covered for life scheme.
So far i've only found pet plan who do the cover for life does anyone know of anyone else? |

Re: Dog Insurance
Hi i use healthy pets - they cover for each injury / illness for as long as you need it (no time limit to claim unlike most) upto the limit of your policy.
I pay £24 a month for 2 dogs - and i know others on here have also had good prices with them. UK Pet Insurance - Healthy Pets: Dog and Cat Insurance Quotes Online

Re: Dog Insurance
My free petplan insurance is due to run out. I have looked at loads of different insurances, but came back to pet plan. I was told to be careful as sometimes insurance companies will only let you have up to the amount stated, if you use 2,000 in the first year the following year you will have 2,000 left out of your 4,000 cover. I am sticking with petplan, mine is 15 a month, but im also covered if he needs a special diet, which most dont offer. I also have one with my vet for 12 a month, which covers yearly jab, worming, fleaing, and a check-up every 6 months, and 10% of what ever i get from there. good luck shopping around it drove me mad. hahahah

Re: Dog Insurance
We're with Axa for both of ours. They also insure £7000 per condition, per year and were one of the most reasonably priced. Touch wood I haven't had to claim yet so don't know how they handle claims, although they were reccommended to me from 2 other friends that use them.
I also have 2 friends who swear by Sainsbury's, 1 of which has her boy on a prescription diet that is costing £200 a month and is covered and claims always settled very quickly

Re: Dog Insurance
Hi,
There are a few companies that do life cover, I know "pet protect" does life cover policies. You can view a list of pet insurance companies on our pet insurance page below : Pet Insurance - Compare Cheapest UK Cat & Dog Insurance Quotes Online Thanks Mark |

Re: Dog Insurance
I have the Kennel Club 6 weeks free insurance for Foxy at the moment. But to activate it I had to set up a direct debit (so that her insurance carries on after the 6 weeks is up)... for around £25 a month, which I think is rather expensive, because I've had quotes for less than half that with other companies. So I will just be cancelling that before it's due to start
.I am either going to go with Argos, Healthy Pets (thanks to Alan) or even Tescos. |
