My sisters Sheltie had a c-section - only 3 pups and she was keeping two anyways so not all breeders are making money hand over fist

Back to OP - very very doubtful that your insurance will cover a c-section - it usually says on them exemtions include anything to do with breeding. Who are you insured with??

Very little to be made out of breeding if it is done proporly

The after care of the bitch and rearing/worming/vaccinating puppies can be hard on the pocket & thats without any complications

Bitches will wait until the sunday night before a bank holiday

Make sure you inform your vet when she will be due so they know that they may be needed.

If you need a c-sec then make sure you get the vet to save you the sacks/afterbirth so you can put on pups when she wakes up.
