Re: what breed?

I have two SBT's,My friend had one as a child,I always wanted one and they are reknown for their love of children which was also a major factor.

They are slightly crazy and love people and kids

Re: what breed?

I own a Northern Inuit bitch Shila and a Northern Inuit x Husky bitch Isis. I got Shila after 3 years of research into the breed and granted there is a lot of hate towards the breed for various reasons BUT to me they are a all round good breed.
I will be looking for a staffy bitch in the next few years purely because I lurve the breed

Re: what breed?

we have two husky x malamutes. my son wanted a husky but after reading that they are hard to train and don't get on with cats, we looked at the mals who are meant to be better with cats, and ended up getting a cross of the two, whom i may add are doing very well with training and both want to play with the cats although would not leave them alone with them. before that i had german shepards and lab crosses as a kid.

Re: what breed?

My main breed is the OTB & American Bulldog, I can't explain what it is I like about them as I don't want people thinking the wrong thing, ie some people say that they are better than the "British Bulldog" which isn't exactly true
What I can say about them is that they are perfect dogs for my family & will always own at least one (as I have two that are quite old in "Bulldog" terms), I've always owned a "Bulldog" that's something that will never change

I have other breeds too - three rescue dogs (Well, one wasn't a rescue but needed a new home - the other two were rescues - One being a Stafford x that had boiling hot oil splashed over her because she wasn't "aggressive" enough & the other just wasn't wanted anymore - basically owners realised he was going to grow much bigger than they could handle, so he came to us)

I have a Dogue who is soft as butter, always like the breed but was used to Bullmastiffs - when I lost my Bullmastiff, I went for the Dogue instead, both breeds being pretty much the same in looks and personality

Re: what breed?

I have got three Golden Retrievers, and would like another one, but wll be waiting until our next litter, probably in a couple of years time, from our youngest girl, dependant on how she does in the show ring. I also need to wait a while, as after our recent cat addition my husband begged 'no more animals now please?' Oh dear, he's got no chance.

We got a Golden as my husband had alway wanted one. I didn't even want a dog but agreed to do the looking after so he could have one. Now I wouldn't be without one, and wouldn't have any other breed. (I don't think!) They are just so full of life and love, so trainable and easy. And although I never used to like the look of them, and thought they were a bit ugly really, I now absolutely adore them.

Our dogs have turned me into a total breed fanatic, Goldens are practically my whole life, and I am now a dog geek.

I can see mysel fgoing the same way with Ragdolls, and she isn't even here yet..... oops!
