I cant belive what I was reading, those poor dogs, what lives do they have. Surely there must be some solution to it. Totally agree that people like that are going to cause so much trouble for decent dog owners but I just feel for the poor dogs beine "tortured" to get them aggressive.

Unfortunalty I have seen first hand these kind of dogs. Normally with the hoodies that deal drugs (old area I used to live in) a guy down the road used to teach his dog to hold onto trees for exactly that reason, but nothing could be done about it as he wasnt doing anything illegal
Its a sad fact that bull type breeds are targeted for use by these **** heads who are giving them the bad rep. And who suffers at the end only the poor dog

They should scrap all these crap ideas about muzzling dogs they should bring in a test that every dog owner should have to pass. If you cant produce a license (like a driving one) when stopped they should remove the dogs from your care until you either pass or sign the dog over. Would sort out a hell of a lot of problems IMO. If they can do it with cars they why not poor helpless animals

Its a great idea in theory, but everyone would just behave to pass it, and then carry on being morons once they've got it. Just like you get dangerous drivers who have a license.

Yea thats true but it would be a good foundation idea that could be built on to a least try to cut down on this sort of thing. Those poor poor dogs there really is no sensible way round it

These morons just admitted to the nation that they torture their dogs and no one can do a thing about it? I hate this country...

I think there should be a non tolerance law to deal with these sick people! I think for a first offence it should be a huge fine and community service, and then maybe tagged. An then if there there was a second offence, something more serious. Maybe this could be used in conjunction with a license. But until they make harsh consequences for these 'humans' (if you can call them that,) it will continue. They need harsh tactics not ones that are going to punish responsible owners.
