After hours..ok an hour on google

I cannot find any good advice on what to use to clean up dog mess and urine. We live in a rented house with carpets and i need to make sure what i use takes away the smell to me and Colin so it doesnt encourage him to go there again. Ive read alot about enzyme cleaners - can anyone suggest some good products that you have used before and have work?

Re: After hours..ok an hour on google

bio washing powder apparently works well to neutralise urine smell.

Re: After hours..ok an hour on google

In wilkinson for 99p ish you can get a water spray bottle
We fill that with a mixture of 1 part biological washing liquid to approx 5 parts water.
It means there is something ready to quickly clean up with and is less wasteful than just getting it out the bottle.
tried the enzyme cleaners I hated the smell, it was worse than pee!

Re: After hours..ok an hour on google

thanks for the advice - but powder or liquid bio? I have just rehomed a dog who hasn't quite worked out that he needs to go outside...not in the doorway between the kitchen and the utility room. We are getting there though - but I don't want it to smell...

Re: After hours..ok an hour on google

We rented a carpet doctor and used the pet stain shampoo thingy AMAZING. got out all the stains from everything not just bramble but also the time i dropped a bottle of wine on the floor and the time i dropped pizza on the foor (cream carpets!)

Only downside is you have to rent one for 24 hours - so not easy for the odd spillage and whoops. But deffiantely recommend it just to give the carpets a good clean once he's got the hang of things.
