Re: What the hell !

What an awful thing to happen. The people must have been nuts and the scary thing is you probably didnt have a leg to stand on as there was more than one of them and it would have been their word against yours if they had said Hudson had attacked them or if he had bitten then when they pushed him. They want locking up!

Re: What the hell !

Well I can honest say in all my years of dog handling I've never ever come across anyone who thought malamutes (that's assuming they even know the difference between one and a husky) are dangerous. I like most people assume they are hard work cos need alot of exercise and grooming but otherwise can't say I'd give their temperment any thought. What a bunch of moron's.

i must admit i find it hard to tell the difference, but is a husky even classed as dangerous?? i always see them as big fluffy friendly things i`d love one but due to the fur i couldn`t keep it, muffin`s new best friend is a husky we meet everyday he`s only 13 weeks and is almost the size of her lol bright blue eyes he`s got i love them

Re: What the hell !

OMG!!I would of demanded their addresses from the police officer and gone round and smacked them all upside the head!!
That is awful behaviour and tantamount to assault againest you. BUT if I saw an off lead large dog (esp a breed known to be DA or prey orientated) I would be wary too. Meet and greets would be done with me crouching, hands at the ready, and I wouldnt let mine play/roam with a large dog I didnt know well. But they should of said a polite hello and left you and Hudson alone IMO.

Re: What the hell !

Some very very odd people around, not need to be violent, or to push Hudson, how very rude and nasty.
Wait till you see them around again, and put dog poop under the car door handles..............

I completely understand that people can be wary - unnecessarily in Hudson's case lol, he's a teddy bear lol - but he was walking to heel when their dogs came over. He still stayed right by my side. There was clearly no aggression at all and if they had the decency to come over instead of losing the plot they would have realised he was softer than their labs . Nicole xx
