I have a fear of them, I live on a farm and they terrorise the foals when they are new born! Snacking at the fences, we tell the hunt to keep away but we cant stop them at the field nextdoor..

Re: How many dogs can you fit in a bungalow!!?

I don't have a bungalow but may aswell have as my lot are only allowed downstairs. 3 is my limit, one smallish dog, one large dog and one dog who will grow to be massive!

Re: How many dogs can you fit in a bungalow!!?

Tiny dogs are very moreish and squeeze into the smallest of spaces!
Breed is a huge factor though isnt it? I know Chihuahua's thrive in a busy little pack, also hounds prefer company and some (mad!) people have big husky packs they work.
My 3 get lost in my tiny house, in fact sometimes I turn over on the sofa and knock someone off coz I didnt even know they were there!LOL

A friend of ours has 16 wolfhounds, they all come in the house, which is a cottage, during the day - but they do sleep in kennels at night.

OMG it must cost an absolute fortune to keep that many dogs. It must take great dedication and lots of hard work

Mo

But isn't it a struggle to get past that lot to the kettle? I have enough trouble sometimes just with three cats and a yorkie.

Re: How many dogs can you fit in a bungalow!!?

I live in a bungalow and have 7 cavs 1 chi 2 collies 1 leonberger 1 xbreed 3cats 2 pygmy hedgehogs and 1 rabbit. I dont work but spend most of the day looking after the mob.Ihave reached my limit now and have been very good refusing to keep a number of cavs and pick them up and take them straight to Lizzies Barn so they find them a home i dont foster at the moment either as i fail too often.

Re: How many dogs can you fit in a bungalow!!?

My best friend from high school had around 30 dogs.
She inherrited a looaad of money off the old widow with no family whose life she saved in a fire, and used that money on rescuing dogs.
But only 8 of hers are alowed in the house.
Most of them were ex breeders, ex racers and oldies from council pounds.
Was hard work!
