Doggie deals in South Devon!

Thought I'd pass this on to anyone in the area... Fermoys in Ipplepen, near Newton Abbot, are selling 15kg bags of James Wellbeloved puppy and adult food for £29.99. I think she said the RRP is £47, so it's a great deal. It works out at closer to £60 if you buy lots of the 2kg bags. They have limited stock at this price though.

Also, South Hams District Council are offering microchipping for £10 (again while stocks last) if you live in their catchment. You just have to book in at Animals In Distress at Ipplepen. Not sure if this is much cheaper than the vet, but hey ho, I went for it as we've only had our girl a week.

I'd recommend stopping off at the butcher's by the entrance too - they were frying sausages up for the customers yesterday
