Re: shampoo for my staffie

Hi i use coal tar shampoo for my chi x as she gets dry skin,and sometimes red and itchy,this works well for her and smells nice too.

Hi yes I used to have an english setter that was allergic to new grass can you believe it!!!! I used to buy from the vets a shampoo called Malaseb! It was great shampoo! You can of course now buy online also! Just google malaseb and should point you in the right direction! Good luck with your dogs!

I use Malaseb and Keratolux when mine have a spot breakout. Its good stuff but can dry the hairout

Only bathe your dog once a quarter, too much bathing can disturb the natural skin oils.

As well as adding Salmon oil to food

Evening Primrose Oil capsules are good for dry skin (shouldn't be given to dogs & cats with epilepsy)...my cat suffers from it, and they have helped him a lot...

I use Crazy Pets shampoo on my staffie and occasionally give him a cod liver oil capsule to keep his coat glossy
