Re: 10 most smart, stupid and dangerous...

I dont agree on boxers in the top 10 most dangerous i looked on sites to find a dog/s to keep with kids and boxers came up for me each time ???
And on the stupid list is this not a list of dogs harder to train ? ive not met dogs that are stupid just people who dont know how to care for them .
We had a british bulldog and he was by no means stupid at all just very stuborn .

HaHa. It might as well have said that, it doesn't mean a dog is intelligent or not, I think it just shows what a dog will do for its human Great pic.

Re: 10 most smart, stupid and dangerous...

What about the Airedale ??and the JRT ( not a pedigree but hey !!! ) I may be bias but My Airedale is clever and easy to train the JRT'S well just look at a few movies that have a dog in it ???? lots of clever JRT'S there.

No honestly I do agree that some breeds are more inteligent than others some more stupid or shall we say layed back and of course some dogs are quicker to show their teeth but I dont totaly agree with the list.

Re: 10 most smart, stupid and dangerous...

I thought "dalmation", dangerous? when i saw the list all dalmations ive met have been silly soft things gorgeous dogs and if the intelligence.trainable list is true them the english springer should be on there near the top of the list not that ime bias being a springer owner/freak but they have to be one of the most trainable, wherever this list has come from i dont know but most of it i.m.o is wrong, surely.

Best to take all these Lists with a pinch of salt & common sense
Australian cattle dogs probably defined as dangerous because of their tendency to bite ankles - which is exactly what they were bred for!

5 - Doberman
6 - Shetland Sheepdog
7 - Labrador Retriever
8 - Papillion
9 - Rottweiler

2 - Basenji
3 - British Bulldog

9 - Boxer
10 - Dalmation
I think the most dangerous list is a joke, whats it judged on ? what breeds are most agressive ? can do most damage ? or what ?

Surley a Persa Canario would be more dangerous and do more damage than any of the breeds on the list. Why Kangals and CAO's ect are not even on the list is beyond me, as surely they would do the most damage and the most dangerous if not controlled. Surely a 200 pound CAO whos known for animal and people agression would do more damage than a 50 pound chow chow.
