well done angel!!

put angels crate up today been waiting a month or so to have the space. once i put it up i started to train her, putting treats (milky bones) just in the door and going further in, she wouldn't put all feet in. so after dinner, i saved a bit of raw mince and tried her with that, holding it at the back of the crate, she went all the way in and sat down, then laid down in it, after that she laid in it when on her own accord, at the monemt she is asleep in it with the door shut it has took her a few hours to get crate trained, im very pleased as i thought it would take a few weeks.

how long did it take everyone else,

also we have 3 dogs and she is the only one being crate trained, will she feel like she is the only one being put in there and get jealous of the other two as they arnt, i got her the crate so she got somewhere to get away from the dogs and cats, as they dont leave her alone and she gets fed up with them sometimes.

Re: well done angel!!

Of my two Sapphire is crate trained and Romeo isn't. She doesn't mind as its her haven away from him although he did go in the other day and boy did she have a cry about it.
She did at first get upset about the door being shut as Romeo gets full use of the kitchen but she's fine now, she actually puts herself to bed in it sometimes now
