Re: Dog clothing

Who designs the products?

The "backpack" could possibly cause problems due to the weight being place unevenly directly onto the spine.

Re: Dog clothing

Firstly I'd like to welcome you to the site.

But I'm sorry but I can't stand to see dogs dressed up like dolls, I just don't see the point, a coat for bad weather and that's where I draw the line.

I don't want to upset you David but that's just how I feel.

Re: Dog clothing

Hi and welcome.

I can't honestly see my wolfhound in a skirt
Rucksacks, if being used should be more like a panier, with the weight loading area at the side of the dog not on top.

Re: Dog clothing

I imagine if the rucksack is just small enough for a poo bag it wouldnt be so bad?
I like the fleece tops, very cosy!! TBH this might be the wrong forum to get feed back. Try some of the toy breed specific forums, ie-chihuahua forum or toy poodle forum. Us wierdo's dress our dogs up in all sorts!!
I have a selection of tops for my short coat Chi pup from t shirts to coats depending on the weather. Luckily it hasnt really been cold enough yet!

I have to second this. My DDB would look ridiculous dressed up. I would never put her through that. She's an animal not a human. Sorry

Re: Dog clothing

I don't mind a practicle coat for wet and cold weather, but those dresses are just wrong. If you want something to dress up in stuff like that, get a doll. To put a dog in them is to insult its animal nature. I won't be ordering anything.

Re: Dog clothing

hey everyone, first of all thank you for taking the time to reply, i totaly respect the opinion of people who don't like this sort of thing but many dogs enjoy wearing these costumes, jack my friends dog who is in the pictures had a great time trying them all on, it is supposed to be fun for the owner AND the dog, i have an old english sheepdog and i don't think he would look to good in a dress much like your irish wolfhound! the clothes are only sized to fit smaller dogs and the rucksacks are only big enough to carry a few poo bags, they won't put any pressure on the dogs spines, thanks again for having a look and giving your opinions
