The collar only lasts 4 weeks once opened but the spray you can use anytime you need it without it 'going stale'. Although collars would be good for around bonfire night just once a year!

Hi, like Dawny I have used the collar and I didn't get on with it so well as I didn't want to use it with Honey all the time but only when she was exposed to traffic. It did work to some extent but I have found the spray much better. I am currently using it for her travel sickness by spraying it in the area she lies in. I've had excellent results so far and she has stopped being sick or dribbling while travelling. It also use it on my clothing when I'm walking her somewhere really busy with lots of traffic. She seems much calmer overall. She doesn't have any issues with fireworks so I don't know if it would work for acute stress. I would definitely buy the spray again.
