Bonfire Night and How we survived

It's a tiny bit late I wanted to post this yesterday but video uploading took longer than I expected

I very much enjoyed bonfire night despite most of the day keeping an ear out encase any went off in the day while I had Maya out. Once night time fell Maya was placed indoors and the fun began as me and Barney set out to go enjoy ourselves for the night.

I'll post the pictures first and then the videos.

Smeatons Tower

Barney in his florescent jacket and flashing tag

Closer view of the tower

Early start of the bonfire

Zoomed out

A bit later on (I had been videoing back and forth at this point) you can see the guy here just before he caught fire

Barney likes watching the bonfire

(more on next post)

Re: Bonfire Night and How we survived

The flames grew quickly once the guy was on fire

He just looks so adorable watching the bonfire

I love this picture, can you see two witches one fat and one thin?

Now the grass is on fire

It got more and more crowded that barney had to lay just under me, but as you see he never fussed and went back to watching.

Last photo of the bonfire which is now dying down.

Some pics of the fireworks

Videos on next post

Re: Bonfire Night and How we survived

YouTube - Plymouth Bonfire 2009
First video of the bonfire, before the guy caught fire.

YouTube - Plymouth Bonfire 2009 Part 2
I dropped the camera but this was after the guy caught fire (I missed filming it)

YouTube - Plymouth Bonfire 2009 part 3
as you can see it was very busy and I got hit a few time by the kids light sabers

YouTube - Plymouth Guy Fawkes Fireworks 2009
Some of the fireworks, not the best i've seen and I was having more fun watching the people dancing

YouTube - Wannabee drugs dog
Now on our way home and I forgot to say I also had a florescent jacket & gloves

YouTube - Bonfire night-walking home
barney showing off his road safety and work mode, when he's on lead he goes into work mode so doesn't feel the need to wag his tail he constraints on other things like the road.

Well we enjoyed ourselves and I heard maya slept through the fireworks so wasn't bothered too much apart from when i went to bed and you could hear them in my bedroom so I took her downstairs and she slept where it was quieter.

Re: Bonfire Night and How we survived

It looked brilliant, barney is just like our springers taking everything in his stride as long as they are out there doing what everyone else is doing they are happy. . . . . . try having fun without them. . . . . . not going to happen , amazing dogs.
