hi everyone. my dog is in desperate need for his nails cutting. im too scared to do it myself incase i end up hurting him.

my question is will a dog groomer just clip his nails without me having to have his hair cut (he is the sort of dog who doesnt need his hair cutting)

or can i take him to a vet to get them cut???

any help will be much appreciated

I am not sure about the dog groomer doing it but you can always ring up and ask them if they can just cut his nails? I do mine my self but I know the vets will do it if you can't. x

Yes groomers will cut the nails for you and charge between £8 and £10. depending where you live and the costs there. Your vets will charge more. xx

the groomers that i work at do the nails only for £5. vets would cost much more, my vet charged me £13 to have my rabbit's nails clipped.

Might be worth giving a local groomer a call and asking for a price and getting them to show you how to do it when you go in Then you can do it yourself in the future

the groomers in our local pets at home charge £3 for nails to be clipped

Our local petshop clip ours for a small charge so may be worth trying them.
