another thing with this is if people were to smack their dogs for messing the floor to example the chances are they did that at least 5 mins ago....
they're not going to know what you're smacking them for!

if me or the OH caught daisy in the act of making a mess we'd shout and say NO and then put her outside whilst we cleaned up. she soon learnt that she gets shouted at if she goes inside.

if she went inside which she often did at the beginning and we didnt see it we'd just clean it up.

now we dont even have to shout we just go ahh!? (i guess a bit like ceasar) and you can see it register like ''oh okay im not allowed that''

its animal cruelty.
what also annoys me is people full on YANKING their leads. like not a quick sharp tug or a strong pull back im talking all their strength yanking the poor dog back

when my brother in law got fletcher first thing he did was roll up a newspaper tight to use on an 8week pup! thank god he only spent a week with them, not bad people but no idea!
