Re: Border Collie Pups

Hi Carrie,

I am waiting to pick up my BC pup on 29th November and can't wait.

We found the breeder on both epupz and pets4homes.

It is a farm but we have been up twice to see our pup and it is a lovely place.
The breeder has lots of BC's and we were able to see them all. (Adults not puppies)
I don't know which area you live in but both of these sites cover the UK.

Beware of scammers, my daughter in law nearly fell foul of one and was about to pay £160 without even seeing the pup apart from a pic!!! I had to stop her.

I also have a Border Collie X and she is 14 years old, she has been the best dog and most obedient I have had.

Good luck, hope you find what you are looking for.................be sure to let us know!!

P.S I have just started a blog about my dogs if anyone is interested lol.
Only one post on there but will build up when I can.

have you had a border collie before? they are very highly strung and take a lot of training. they are lovely pets if probably trained.
In general I'd agree with this advice, but my farm bred welsh collie pup was also reared in a kennel block outdoors and she's the most sociable, friendly, confident little thing - runs up to everyone with licks! She was only socialised with the farmer's family but that included 4 kids and several working dogs. Both parents were very calm, friendly, laid-back dogs - that's why I chose her.
