Re: Was wondering – what made you choose the dog you have now?

You made a good choice there she absolutely stunning.

Once we decided on a breed SBT, I looked on the internet located a litter. We went to look and the puppy that came to me and was happy to be with me, I wanted. If he could talk I am sure he was saying take me home, so I did.

No regrets, he is 3 years old in June. As the saying goes ee by gum best dog in world. My world that is.

The golden retrievers because I grew up with them, the german spitz because Tich was too small to handle the goldens, the welsh springer as I had one when a child and they go hill-walking with the OH, the welsh terriers because they were my dads breed and when he passed away they were in his memory one was born on his birthday and the other registered on his birthday!!!!, and the tibetan terriers cos I just love them and they go everywhere with me, my lap dogs, my travelling companions they are all loved 130% and are pets first show dogs after.

Re: Was wondering – what made you choose the dog you have now?

Well, we decided to get a dog last year having had dogs when we both lived at home and missing them when we moved out. I have always had Schnauzers - a fab breed (i was devastated when we lost Spike our last one) and my husband has always had German Pointers.

We decided to get one that was completely different for both of us so we could learn about it together and having done endless research we decided on a staffie. we wanted to ensure that they would be good with children and be affectionate.

we went to meet a breeder expecting pups before they were born and talked at length about the breed and met our pups mum before he was born so we could decide on the breed ... i fell in love

Staffies are just wonderful, Oscar is a wonderful addition he is affectionate and i am completely in love. I am looking forward to trying my hand in the show ring with him and love coming home to a smiling face and a thousand licks!!! Highly recommend the breed
