Dog collar question

I have been looking into things i can buy in preparation for when i finally get a dog. I have found a collar that i really like. the dimensions of the collar has 2 parts eg 50 mm x 70 cm. surely the 70 cm isnt the length of the collar as that would be massive. could it be going by the size of the dog?

50mm x 70 cm usually the first dimension is the width of the collar and the second is the length

Re: Dog collar question

Luika, our GSD is currently wearing a little blue collar, but it should be okay for the next few weeks, as it has length enough to accommodate at least another 3 months or so.

We are basically waiting for Luika to age a little before deciding on his forever collar. Taking into consideration how he responds to training of course.
