Smile dogs in or out

whats your thoughts ondogs kept out in kennels my self i prefer it they have there own space they don,t damage your home don,t get told off all the time which is better and less stressful ,if you start them out from day one they soon get used to it ,i wonder if it would stop a lot of dogs going into rescue ,it certainly cuts out a lot of the problems you encounter when dogs live indoors,it also is alot healthyer central heating is no good for dogs there coats shine when there out door,my dogs do come in the house for there fuss , i never leave them locked in there runs for to long in the day time and don,t put them away until last thing at night ,it works very well for us and the dogs

I dont disagree with it I think especially if you have big dogs it can be a good idea but my 2 are indoor dogs they are too soft lol Sandy moans to get back in if shes left outside too long Also I like having them around, they are part of our family I wouldn't want them outside

Re: dogs in or out

My folks have always kept their dogs outside. They are in their runs over night and for a few hours in the morning for a kip. Coats have always looked fantastic and never had a problem. We couldn't do that when we had our lab as he was a rescue with separation anxiety.

I think there are advantages to kenneling your dogs during the night. I personally keep mine inside but thats a personal choice.

dont agree wiv ya sorry, it makes no bloody diff if their kept in or out...its preference really aint it. and its what u get ya dog used to at the end of the day, aslong as your taking care in there well being and needs then coats and health makes no difference.

i dont think its wicked to keep dogs outside aslong as they have proper shelter etc but a dog outdoors is nomore healthy then a dog indoors.

my dogs have lived in my home all there life, i or my dogs aint stressed and they deffo dont damage my home???? they love being around the family and seeing people coming and going from my home, yer it can piss ya off when ya trying to toilet train a new dog u bring into ya home but ya get there in the end like i did wiv my lot, wich may i add ( all but 1 who was harder) was no sweat to train indoors.

also my dogs have gorgeous shiney healthy coats so the gch is aload of rollocks..

my dogs live inside and their coats are good the ch hasn't done em any damage at all, but whether they live in or out has to be personal choice. the main thing is that they are well looked after.

we got a kennel/run when we got our girl so we could keep her seperate from the boys when she was in season but to be honest it's now used as the shed overflow

i don,t agree its not just the toilet training there are many more issues chewing geting under your feet jumping up visitors if there ill you cop for it all over the house, plus there,s the smell of dog odour in your house, now come on your just one of these poeple who can put up with dog harrasment not everybody can thats why the rescue homes are full of unwanted dogs this is the reason i put this on here maybe give someone the idea to build dog run and give it a try instead of taking there dog to the rescue

Oh and im not one of these people that can put up with dog harrassment because of the simple fact being...MY DOGS DONT HARRASS ME, again because i have been bothered to take time training them manners indoors instead of sticking them in the garden from (as you put it) day 1.

And as for taking dogs to the rescue because they live in the home and reck it pfffttt...dont talk aload of bloody ********....dogs can get sent to rescue wether they live in or out...is there any proff stating most rescue dogs came from inside the home??? nah thort not.

At the end of the day it all boils down to prerence dont it...and ur obviously one of these thats prefers to keep ya dogs in the garden...so yer ya gonna pick thorts with dogs indoors.

i can pick plenty for dogs living outdoors but i wont go there.

Why bother having pets if you dont want to be bothered with them
