Personally I think it is each individuals choice but the dog must be well looked after, get the attention it needs and be a happy well balanced dog!
thats exactly it Lynsey why have a dog just to stick it outside, diff when they only spend sometime outside but I know people who just leave them out all day wots the point. I love my dogs being around laughing at the daft things they do they are good fun and great company thats why I have them!

And u dont seem to get my drift.

Your exact words on page 1 of this thread is that all dogs do in the home is damage...harass...make ya home stink...get under ya feet, jump up visitors make themselfs and owners stressfull , get told off, is alot healthyer and have better coats and are likely to end up in rescue.

How do u expect people who own dogs indoors to react????

U said u look afta ya dogs brilliantly wile they live outside....and us people who have their dogs kept inside can do a bloody excellent job aswell if we take the time out to teach them house MANNERS AND RULES....so at the end of the day it works both ways gazt....i could pick fault in dogs being left outside but it dont always mean all outside dogs are kept in bad conditions ( wich may i add can end up in rescue just the same as anydog where ever they live).

Don't worry wasn't having a go at you. Can tell you love your woofies!! I used to live near a guy whose dogs were kept outside and he bred them. They were stunning dogs and very well balanced. He was excellent with them. It was great when you used to see him taking the dogs and pups out when they were old enough. 3 bitches, 7 puppies all under perfect control, that was why he was known as 'Bob the Dog'!

Re: dogs in or out

If you have a dog as a pet, why make it sleep outside? mine sleeps in her bed in my bedroom, she farts worse than the OH, and i dont kick her out either!

and mine is not left on her own shes always got some one to play with!

Well i was, after reading wat he put down about dogs in the home

Maybe he has come across people that havent put the time out to train indoor dogs to say the things he said...maybe he's dogs aint trained to behaive in the home...who knows?????
But for him to come on here and say the things he said about wat indoor dogs are like then he obviously hasnt kept dogs indoors and trained them manners in the home.

My dog may live out side but i dare say they are more happy than these so called house dogs that are left inside allday!
Then the people you know who have these dogs indoors alday cooped up making em hold in their s**T and piss are as bad as the people who have their dogs outside allday with no interaction or social life and are left there to rott....again garry it works both ways.

u say u look afta your dogs good outside right??
well im telling you my dogs are kept well inside aswell...and the back doors open for them to come and go and do as they please...if i go out its nomore then a couple of hours...if im out longer i make damn sure someone will let them out ( my mum who lives over the road ) or family.
i can say my dogs are more happy then these SO CALLED OUTSIDE DOGS because they have the best of both worlds.

coming round for a cuppa tea garry ill serve u ya tea in me best dog hair china.
