HAHA thats the spirit girl....at least you know at the end of it you will have a well mannered and well trained loved family pet.

it may take time..it may happen quick but at the end of the day you will put time into him/her an teach him rite from wrong in your home.

Re: dogs in or out

I can walk through my village and u can tell exactly the dogs that are kept outside, there are the ones that jump up their fences outside their kennels going beserk sounding like they wanna rip ur throat out everytime you dare to walk past. How is that any less sociable when you have visitors than a friendly dog sayin hello in the kitchen? I know which one I'd rather have greet me

Not that I'm knocking the people that do keep them outside as I do agree its just personal pref, but these particular people seem to have them as nothing more than a deterrant, it would drive me mad living next door to that barking away day and nite!

I like to know my dogs are safely tucked up in bed when I go to bed and I know damn well no one would get in my house without them both going nuts so I guess they r indoor guard dogs

Re: dogs in or out

I do hate those folk that just sling their dogs outside and thats it, I can't stand it when they bark all the time that is not a balanced dog. Although my folks dog is kept outside at night he is in the house during the day and all their dogs have been perfectly behaved. They have a bed in the lounge so that they have their spot, they get fed in the house. My dad has even put a small heating tube in the dog shed so they don't get too cold in the winter.

Personally I think it is each individuals choice but the dog must be well looked after, get the attention it needs and be a happy well balanced dog!
