truly tho gaz...if someone wants to get shot of their dog there has to be a good reason...also its not inside dogs that are always for sale or being getting shot off....people do want to rehome dogs that live outside aswell...i know this coz i surf dog classifieds alot and have found outdoor dogs for rehoming.

If the dogs are trained then you have none of these problems. My opinon is unless they are a working dog/ guard dog they should not be left outside all the time. Growing up our dogs have always been indoors. Why would i get an animal that costs a lot of money only to leave it outside. Someone near me leaves there staffy outside and the noise it makes drives me crazy

Re: dogs in or out

I think you have scared him off!!!

I won't have mine live outside, hes a family pet not a working dog. I really can't understand the connection between indoor pet and it needing re-homing, thats what trainning is for!!!!!!!!!!

LOL haha.

honestly tho if someone wants to rehome there dog i cant see a outdoor run changing their mind????

altho i do understand where he is coming from in wat he is saying....

but the thng that pissed me off is the fact he said indoor dogs harrass and wreck homes and piss and s**t everywhere and get unda ya feet??? ( he obviously aint had a dog inside ) if he did he would know that simple training will stop the dog doing all off these., oh and i dont moan at my dogs all the time either because i simply have no need to 9 outta 10 times.

the only one i had probs with was my youngest who was abit harder to toilet train...he is fine now and they have good manners when regarding my home because they have been TAUGHT from day one to respect my home.

i dont think its wicked to keep dogs outside aslong as they have proper shelter etc but a dog outdoors is nomore healthy then a dog indoors.

my dogs have lived in my home all there life, i or my dogs aint stressed and they deffo dont damage my home???? they love being around the family and seeing people coming and going from my home, yer it can piss ya off when ya trying to toilet train a new dog u bring into ya home but ya get there in the end like i did wiv my lot, wich may i add ( all but 1 who was harder) was no sweat to train indoors.

also my dogs have gorgeous shiney healthy coats so the gch is aload of rollocks..

Here here here!!

My dog lives inside - her coat is so shiny you could see to put your lipstick on in it AND if the radiator is on she will lie as close as she probably could to it. So yes I agree that an outdoor dog don't necessarily have a better coat. Nutrition, health and love are what matter.

If your dogs are happy to be outside then good for you. I like my animals indoors with me - I like their company and they like mine LOL

My dogs live in and Thank god they do,when Meg developed Pyo we spotted the signs had she been outside in a kennel we may not of noticed anything was wrong.

My dogs are well trained friendly & sociable,It's called training, not dumping them outside in a kennel from day one.
How can anyone dump an 8 week old pup in a kennel

Re: dogs in or out

All my dogs live out side in a back garden thats really all theirs,i have spent over £1000 on new kennels this year, and the Mrs bought them £100 worth of blankets which i wash at the laundrette once a month,me and the Mrs laugh that they have got a better home than us! But that don't stop me spending time with my dogs, yes i have them in allot ,to watch TV ,have a play with them or just watch them do divi things but they don't sleep in my house or are ever left alone in there ,unless their ill ,then they sleep inside in the cage i got !
But as for them being more ore less healthy outside,i really think thats BS
IMHO!
if anything i think their coats look dirtyer when they live outside!
